A multimedia artist and storyteller based out of San Francisco, I've been expressing myself through painting for just over a decade now and have recently created a collection of paintings for sale. My art, both on the literal canvas as well as the virtual, is an expression of mostly abstract, organic patterns often using bright colors, high contrast, and sometimes whimsy. Thanks for visiting! collection 1 : the ethereal dawn colección 1 : el albor etérea paintings for sale pinturas a la venta 2010 Each piece is acrylic paint on stretched canvas, mounted on a 3/4" deep, inner wood frame. 3 pieces from this collection were recently shown at the "Art Expo at the Mint", May 2010. collection 2 : nucleus colección 2 : núcleo digital art ~ arte digital 2007 I shared 2 pieces from this digital collection at the "Art Expo at the Mint", July 2008. To create these pieces, I used Adobe Photoshop, which is a popular software for editing and enhancing photos. However, rather than beginning each piece with an actual photo, I would create shapes and colors on a blank image and apply textures and patterns using the Photoshop filters. Each limited edition piece is printed on an EPSON 9800 Printer with K3 Ultrachrome inks using UV-resistant pigments on archival-quality photo paper with a lustre finish. Most of these pieces I have available already matted and framed in a quality ramin wood frame with black finish. Any others in this collection can be special ordered. Twelve of the pieces from this collection were shown at the "Rotation Collective" electronic music event, San Francisco, CA, 2004. collection 4 : early works colección 4 : obras tempranas sketches / drawings / watercolor bosquejos / dibujos / acuerelas 2001 ~ 2002 [ not for sale / no a la venta ] The first row of animals in this collection belong to a full set I created in 2001 devoted to the major arcana of the tarot. In 2002, I also explored watercolors, finger painting, and drawing with colored pencils.
